ROM Dress

I went few places to ask for prices and ideas from the Designers. It was a hard choice for me to choose cos the prices are quite similar, but some are slightly more expensive. I dunno how to compare them here. But finally I choose Janet Hon (from Beatrice Looi). I didnt hire Beatrice Looi herself becos she is the chef designer, workmanship was RM2500 and above excluding the material costs etc @@ too much for a ROM dress.

I had a chat with her and she gave many ideas to me. She explained to me the differences of laces and which lace will suit best on me within my budget. My fiance was there to listen to see who to hire to custom made my ROM dress. He told me to choose Janet cos he think she has the idea what I want for my dress and she gonna do it right. We did went Pretty In White the next day, but he is not confident with them lol no idea why~ just the professionalism that he perceived.

My ROM dress was fully sponsored by my father! how sweet @@ feel bad! cos the dress is not cheap at all!

No matter wat, the dress is still not yet done. will be partial ready in September then follow by 3 fittings maximum before my ROM! so I cant fully commit that Janet has done her job and bravo workmanship! lol will keep u guys posted!

Shopping Day

We walk around Pavilion, Ferenheit, SungaiWang to find vest/coat/hat/tie lol walk from 12pm till 5:30pm. Finally we found some good stuffs in Sungai Wang. The things are not cheap but trendy which much more worth as compare to expensive shopping malls around. We brought a really nice slim cut coat at Anatomi (Sungai Wang). They only have limited selections and size, cos all designs only have 4 sizes, each size only one piece available. Khangbii got L size which fit just nice. He will not be able to wear the coat if he gain another 1 kg LOL~ but I know we wont regret for buying it! We also managed to buy a tie and other unrelated to wedding stuffs.

Will not show any photos of what we brought! its a secret till some photos of our pre-wed reveal in our blog :D stay tune!

Our Story

On the 13th Aug 2007, the first day both of them met. It was the first day of work for him and that was the first day he saw her. They went for lunch together, work as a team and plan on projects together. Then year 2008, they started to take up MBA course. It was then the time they are together from working hours only has expand to after working hours as well. They enjoy each other company. They rush for project due date, assignment due date, Exams and classes. Arguments, frustration, anxiety, sleepless nights, misunderstandings and stress of work, life and studies did not break them apart. They work through it together, motivating each other.

Finally on the 30th of May 2010, they hold each other hands and He, promise that he will love her till the end of time and She, was the happiest person on earth. "I Love You" they say it to each other, an unforgettable night.

As a couple, they went for short trips to local places and do what they like best, EAT! It was her interest in heritage buildings and his interest in travelling , brought them to their favorite places in Penang and Melaka. There are ups and downs in their relationship and through patience and understandings, they get through it.

On the 29th of May 2011, he proposed to her in a restaurant with a proposal ring, she accepted it. Now, they are preparing for their once in a life time event... what happen next? Stay tune =)
